THE BOATYARD RESTAURANT - A STATEMENT

We fully support the Government’s decision to close all bars and restaurants in the continued fight to halt the spread of Coronavirus, the health and well-being of each and every one of us comes first and it’s the right thing to do to help flatten that curve.

We are sorry for all those of you with reservations for Mother’s Day, other family celebrations and get-togethers. If you have paid a deposit for a table many of you are choosing to move your deposit to a future booking.

If you have tickets to any of our events these are valid for a full year from the date of re-opening, either for the rescheduled date, or, if the new date does not work for you, we have many events to choose from, these are listed on our website and updated regularly as new acts are confirmed, tickets are transferable to any event of your choice.

We are fully committed to serving our local community and, despite the sad news that you will not be able to dine with us in the immediate future we look forward to seeing you again in due course. Please check our Facebook and Instagram sites for updates (our website takes a tad longer to update) or contact us via email: [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we possibly can.

We have been totally overwhelmed by the support you have shown us for the past twenty years – it means so much to us.

The Boatyard Restaurant,
Leigh-On-Sea

The Boatyard combines the benefits of a modern purpose-built restaurant with the classic surroundings of the Old Leigh fishing village, not to mention the excellent food. Contained within what was previously a working boatyard, the building has been converted into a modern restaurant, fully air-conditioned with a state of the art music system, digital projection screen and a glass-fronted kitchen area . A panoramic polarised glass frontage a short distance from Southend provides uninterrupted views of the Thames Estuary and Two-Tree Island Nature Reserve. Even more spectacular views can be obtained from the stunning wooden deck which juts out into the water and spans the entire width of the building
